Tom & Joyce Lee Celebrate 50th Wedding Anniversary

Thomas C. and Joyce J. Lee celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on June 20, 2003. Mr. and Mrs. Lee were married at Mount Holly Baptist Church near Remington and settled in Fredericksburg in 1954, where they currently reside.

A reception, with nearly 100 family and friends in attendance, was given by their children June 21 at Spotsylvania Presbyterian Church’s fellowship hall.

Mr. And Mrs. Lee are the parents of Wilbur Lee of Orange, Wesley Lee of Waynesboro, Kevin Lee of Spotsylvania, Keith Lee of Sandston, Joyce Bentz of Harrisonburg and Jason Lee of Richmond. They also have eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Mr. Lee retired as a crane operator from J. L. Kent & Sons Contractors and worked at the FMC plant for 30 years.

Mrs. Lee is the former Joyce Mae Jacobs of Sumerduck.
